About The Hilltop Youth & Family Program

Hilltop Youth and Family Program provides alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention programs for elementary and middle school students on the Hilltop area of Columbus. The goal of Hilltop Youth and Family Program is to ensure that Hilltop area youth have the opportunity to live a positive drug-free life.

Hilltop Youth and Family Program offers:

H.O.P.E. Groups (Helping Our Peers Excel) - A 10-week educational support group for children affected by drug/alcohol addiction. This program is offered to elementary and middle school students during school hours.

After school programming* - An 8-month program during the school year at Holton Recreation Center from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. It offers homework assistance, ATOD education and activities, community service projects, arts and crafts, and physical fitness activities including opportunities for boys and girls to plan on organized sports teams. This program is offered to elementary and middle school students during the school year. The parents participate in Family Fun activities during the evenings or on Saturdays.

Summer Day Camp* - A 6 week summer program that incorporates ATOD awareness, physical fitness activities, arts and crafts, and free lunch. This program is offered to elementary and middle school students during the summer break.
