$175,000 in matching charitable funds available
The Columbus Foundation has launched a whole new way to improve the effectiveness of charitable giving—PowerPhilanthropy. And they're celebrating it with Match Day, with up to $175,000 in matching grant dollars to benefit nonprofits who have a PowerPhilanthropy portrait.
Make a contribution to The Prevention Council of Central Ohio through PowerPhilanthropy and your contribution will be matched, $1 for every $2 donated.
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., anyone may visit www.columbusfoundation.org, to make an online gift to The Prevention Council of Central Ohio. The Columbus Foundation will match 50% of all public donations of $1,000 or less made online with a credit card through PowerPhilanthropy, while funds last. Anyone can give, starting with a $20 minimum.
NOTE: After going to www.columbusfoundation.org, go to Give Wisely, Give to a fund then enter "Prevention Council of Central Ohio" as the Fund name.
